I’m so glad you’re here! Welcome to my page. My name is Gaby, and I’m a photographer based in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. I usually have a hard time talking about myself, but here’s my humble attempt to do so…

I love traveling and meeting new places and people. The idea of change fascinates me, and I try not to stay too long within my comfort zone. The small details excite me, and I truly see beauty in anything. One of my favorite quotes is by the photographer Joel Strasser -"A photographer must love life more than he does photography." And Gosh! He couldn’t have said it better.

My photography journey started approximately 10 years ago, when my parents gifted me my first digital camera for Christmas. Since then, my love for photography has only grown. After I graduated from Photojournalism in 2022, I decided to take my photography to the next level, so now I’m here with my little business.

One of the most important pieces of my photography is to convey emotions. Whether it is with people or objects, it is very important for me to recognize the essence of my subject and create based on it.

I know that being in front of a camera can be intimidating. That is why I focus on getting my subject to enjoy the experience long before the shoot begins. The idea is to look back at your images and vividly recall the emotions of the moment and of course… make you want to do it again!

Unlike people, products themselves can’t tell stories. That's why when I work in commercial photography, my number one task is to help create the essence of the product using props to build its identity. Here it is not just about snapping a photo but making the image speak without the need for words.
